CLASSES, COURSES, WORKSHOPS & EVENTS
To comply with fire regulations everyone is required to check-in to each class attended. If you are a new client please be prepared to complete a new client form on your first visit.
The Yoga Extension reserves the right to refuse admission to the studio.
Latecomers may be admitted at the discretion of management and teacher/workshop leader.
Bookings are made subject to The Yoga Extension’s right to alter the schedule or teaching staff as a result of circumstances beyond its control.
PAYMENT POLICY
Online payment is secured by Barclays via the Wellness Living Account at wellnessliving.com.
Your place in a yoga class is only guaranteed once payment has been received.
CLASS PASSES
Single, Five and Ten Iyengar Class Passes may be used for selected Iyengar regular classes. They may not be used on workshops, events or courses.
Passes are valid for 45 days from first visit. Classes not used by the end date are non-refundable.
An Unlimited monthly pass may be used in any Iyengar yoga classes. Contracts commence on the initial payment date and are based on a 2-month commitment. Payment will automatically be taken every month, with a new 2-month commitment commencing at the end of each contract.
Please note that contracts will run over holiday time as usual, despite studio closures.
Annual passes may be used in any Iyengar yoga classes. Contracts commence on the initial payment date and are based on an annual commitment. Payment will automatically be taken every year, with a new 12 month commitment commencing at the end of each contract.
CANCELLATIONS
No refunds will be issued unless The Yoga Extension cancels a class within 24 hours of the start time.
If a class, workshop, course or event has to be interrupted or abandoned, no money will be refunded if more than half of it has taken place. Some exceptions may be allowed solely at the discretion of The Yoga Extension.
Bookings for any class or workshop must be cancelled with at least 8 hours notice. You will not be refunded. However, the booking can be made transferable to another available class or workshop.
If you cancel after the 8 hour notice, you will be liable to pay for the class or workshop in full.
Repeated cancellation while on a contract may lead to The Yoga Extension rescinding your right to buy a contract.
GIFT VOUCHERS
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be extended for use after the date of expiry.
HEALTH
Yoga classes are not suitable for students with certain medical conditions. If you have a condition, please consult your doctor prior to booking classes. Please inform the Yoga Extension and your teacher before starting classes if you are suffering from any injuries, medical conditions or are taking any medication. Specific conditions include:
High blood pressure
Heart disease or any heart problem
Epilepsy including Petit Mal
Cancer or benign tumours
Diabetes
Ménière’s disease
Detached retina
AIDS
MS (multiple sclerosis)
ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis)
If you have recently had an operation
If you are pregnant or are undergoing IVF treatment
We advise that if you are feeling any pain or illness during any class that you stop and rest.
SECURITY
While we take every reasonable precaution The Yoga Extension will not be held responsible for your personal belongings while on the premises.
