One to One - The Yoga Extension - Iyengar Yoga Classes Glasgow

Love to give yoga a go but nervous about that first big class? Been practising a while and ready to go deeper? Whether you’re a complete beginner or accomplished yogi, a one-to-one class could be the answer. Learn the basics, refine your yoga postures, ensure correct alignment, strengthen specific areas of body or calm the mind. We can also work with you to tailor make a home-practice sequence to suit your body and lifestyle.

Class Levels


Suitable for those who have attended an introductory yoga course or who wish to consolidate their yoga practice at this foundation level.

Classes are for students who have attended Iyengar level 1 classes for at least a year, refining the basic asanas. Head balance will be introduced.

Classes are for students who have attended regularly for at least two years and who feel ready to begin intermediate poses and consolidate the inverted poses. Students working at this level are advised to develop a regular home practice. Classes may be up to 2 hours long to allow for a deeper practice.

Classes will be suitable for both Iyengar level 1 and level 2 students.
